Premier's Multicultural Gala Dinner

Premier Hon. Ben Carroll MP, Minister for Multicultural and Multifaith Victoria Paul Edbrooke, and the Victorian Multicultural Commission invited guests to attend the 2026 Premier’s Multicultural Gala Dinner on Saturday 22 August 2026. This special event was a celebration of the vibrant contributions of Victoria’s multicultural and multifaith communities.

This year’s theme was Stories of Us, a celebration of the unique individual journeys, ancestry and migration stories that form our shared identity.

Guests enjoyed a three-course shared meal with drinks, cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and the opportunity to connect and reflect on the power of diversity in our state.

Cultural bazaar stallholders created a wonderful foyer of activity showcasing cultural practice such as tapestry, weaving, floral arrangements and lantern-making from local communities:
