The VMC logo is a protected trademark and is for the use of the Victorian Multicultural Commission only.

VMC logo guidelines

The VMC logo is a protected trademark and forms part of Brand Victoria, which is the property of the Victorian Government. It cannot be used by any government or non-government body without prior authorisation.

The VMC logo represents the identity and integrity of the Victorian Multicultural Commission and must only be used in accordance with these guidelines to ensure it is displayed accurately, respectfully, and consistently.

Authorised use

The VMC logo is for the exclusive use of the Victorian Multicultural Commission.

Limited use by third parties may be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Sponsorships – where the VMC is an official sponsor
  • Partnerships – where the VMC is formally partnering on an initiative
  • Approved promotional or advertising activities – where the use of the logo has been pre-approved

Timeframe for use

Authorisation to use the VMC logo is granted only for the duration of the approved sponsorship, partnership, or promotional activity. Once the agreement or activity ends, the logo must be removed from all digital platforms, printed materials, and other collateral within 30 business days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Permission to use

Any organisation, individual, or event wishing to use the VMC logo must:

  1. Request prior written approval from the VMC.
  2. Clearly outline the purpose, placement, and context in which the logo will be used.
  3. Agree to follow any style and brand guidelines provided.

Unauthorised use of the VMC logo is prohibited and may result in legal action.
