The Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) has released Insights from the 2025 Regional Advisory Forum, a report capturing the voices and priorities of multicultural communities across Victoria.

Held on 26 June 2025, the Forum brought together more than 100 participants, including members of the VMC’s eight Regional Advisory Councils, community leaders, service providers, government representatives and the Minister for Multicultural Affairs.

Discussions focused on six key themes – racism, employment, housing, family violence, mental health and youth justice – with community members sharing lived experiences and practical recommendations to drive fairer outcomes.

As Victoria’s independent voice for multicultural communities, the VMC will continue working with government and community partners to ensure these recommendations lead to meaningful policy, programs, and service improvements.
