Diverse stories are very important to learn about. Because it reflects the people, the journeys, the experiences of the people.

For each and everyone of us to be able to relate to each of those diverse stories is so important.

It's through our diversity that we as a multicultural community can learn from each other, and understand, how we can interact with each other.

The reason this whole film festival was created was for access and opportunity to young filmmakers of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Diverse storytelling is such a crucial thing, especially in our Australian culture. Those stories that they share was something we learn. We take those stories in and we embrace them.

Reflect that in our lives in our day to day. I think the future of multicultural cinema in Australia is going to be fantastic.

We've got a fantastic groundswell of diverse people making films at the moment, and that's just only going to grow and grow into the future.

Film festivals like this tell the story of our diverse state. And people from a whole range of backgrounds get to see their stories up on the big screen.

I've enjoyed the Multicultural Film Festival tonight. It's been an amazing experience, beautiful.

There’s been such a diversity of different types of films, filmmakers experiences, it was a great night.

And as a migrant, queer, community member myself, we’re often invisible. But tonight, we’re visible!

It's very beautiful to see so many different projects and films. I'm very impressed by so many diverse culture here. And it's really encouraging.
