Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll 2022

Victorians are being asked to honour outstanding community members and organisations who have helped make multiculturalism a part of the Victorian identity, character and way of life.

Minister for Multicultural Affairs Ros Spence and Victorian Multicultural Commission Chairperson Vivienne Nguyen AM have announced that nominations are open for the inaugural Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll.

The Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll will recognise the efforts of individuals, community and not-for-profit groups who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to multiculturalism in Victoria.

This program will focus on local champions of diversity recognising the vital role that multicultural individuals and organisations have played to keep our communities safe and connected.

The Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll replaces the Meritorious Service to the Community category from the VMC’s annual Multicultural Awards for Excellence. The new Honour Roll aims to further spotlight those who promote multicultural civic participation and the social, cultural and economic benefits of diversity, in line with VMC’s objectives.

Nominations are open until 16 January 2022, and self-nominations are welcome.
