How is the expression of interest registration process managed?
The Victorian Multicultural Commission will review the expressions of interest received and allocate tickets to support inclusive representation across interested community organisations, the general public, businesses or private organisations, local councils, federal or state government departments.
This approach supports an event with guests from many cultural backgrounds as a true reflection of our multicultural state.

Multicultural or multifaith community organisation tickets are $90 per person.
This includes non-government, registered, not-for-profit organisations engaged in charitable or community-based activity operating in Australia. These organisations must have less than 50 staff.
This rate is also available to Regional Advisory Committee members and Multifaith Advisory Group members.
What is the definition of a general admission ticket?
General Admission tickets are $180 per person.

Why does the VMC offer community discounted tickets?
The Victorian Multicultural Gala Dinner, as the official launch of Cultural Diversity Week, aims to bring Victorians together to celebrate our diversity.
In support and recognition of Victoria’s multicultural communities, the Victorian Multicultural Commission is committed to giving community organisations and groups access to discounted tickets so they can participate in this wonderful event and network with guests including government representatives, sponsors and other community organisations.
This approach also ensures that our guests include people from many cultural backgrounds as a true reflection of our multicultural state.
